The National Lighting Boards (NLP) is a collaboration between the Department of Agriculture and the Department for Communities and Local Government to advise on lighting the nation’s homes.
Lighting requirements The report looked at the requirements for light fixtures and fixtures in the UK and across the European Union.
The NLP said the key recommendations were for: lighting fixtures to have a minimum width of 3.5m (11 feet) and to be able to be fitted with an LED lamp.
