A new lighting bulb is being designed to help protect the world against the ravages of climate change.
The Led Lamp is a tiny, light-emitting, water-absorbing bulb that can be mounted on the underside of a glass container and be controlled with a smartphone.
The bulb’s creators say it is the first time it has been possible to build a new LED lighting bulb that uses less energy and is not dependent on sunlight or water.
Led Lumen is one of a number of small-scale LED light bulbs being developed by a number different companies to help meet the demands of our rapidly changing world.
Led lighting is the technology that makes LED lights shine, and it has revolutionised lighting technology for decades.
It has the potential to power almost every appliance in our homes, and to revolutionise the way we interact with technology.
But while LED lighting is becoming increasingly common, its energy consumption is still far lower than its predecessors.
“The technology that we are using in our home is still not quite up to the level that we need,” said David Sperber, chief executive of Led Lumen.
“In many cases, we have used LED bulbs for a very long time and they have been great but it’s a different kettle of fish for us.”
We need a light that can operate at lower energy and lasts longer.
